Your Booking Confirms Your Agreement To Our Terms

10% Booking Fee

When we have an outline of your basic requirements we can agree a ballpark figure with you. A 10% non-returnable Booking Fee will then secure your special date for you so that no-one else grabs it!

The 10% Booking Fee becomes part of your 50% Deposit.

We will send your Booking Confirmation to you outlining your basic requirements and an invoice for your 10% Booking Fee.

Why a 10% non-returnable Booking Fee?

For both yours and our peace of mind.

For you: A 10% Booking Fee secures your special date for you.

For us: We're very generous with our time to ensure that we give our customers a quality service.  Should a customer decide to cancel their event, this small percentage contributes to the time/admin already given.

50% Deposit

Prior to you paying your 50% Deposit we will agree terms with you. Your 50% Deposit ensures that all Equipment/Decor/DJs you have requested are reserved for your event.

N.B. The 10% Booking Fee already paid means only 40% of your Deposit Balance remains to be paid.

Security Deposit

Included in your quoted price will be a Security Deposit.

We understand that accidents can happen - although they are rare.

If we can repair the damage we will.

If however we need to make a claim on our insurance to repair/replace the equipment, the Security Deposit would be forfeited by the customer to cover the excess on our insurance.

Customer Changes to Package

It is not unusual for a customer to want to make changes to their original plans and these must be within the terms agreed when booking.  All such changes need to be submitted via e-mail so that we have them on record.

50% Balance Due

Your 50% Balance Payment will be due within terms agreed when you booked with us.

Cancellation Terms

Our Terms, in particular this one, exist to make all of our lives easier and stress free.

"We agree cancellation terms with each customer individually because events vary so much in size and requirements."

Here are some examples of what we mean:

1) A headlining festival running over 4 days books our Full Stack Package, Engineers, DJ's and all of our lighting and Decor.

Example of basic Cancellation Terms might be 6-8 weeks before the date of the event.

2) A small festival books our Microstack and an Engineer for a day and a night, they are supplying their own lighting and DJs.

Example of basic Cancellation Terms might be 1 week before the date of the event.

In all cases, Cancellation Terms are agreed with you prior to you paying your deposit.

Sanktum Dry Hire Terms

We ONLY *Dry Hire our Yamaha DXR P.A. System and a selection of Sanktum Extras.

Our Dry Hire is not strictly 'Dry' because we usually install the equipment ourselves, test it and then return to uninstall it.

N.B. For our Dry Hire Packages, we ask to see proof of I.D. and proof of address e.g. ideally a drivers licence; alternatively 2 utility bills.

Quality Equipment Is Expensive So We Have Some Specific Dry Hire Terms.

1. We test all equipment before it goes out to the customer.

2 We test your package with you on site, complete our Risk Assessment and ensure that all is set up to your requirements.

3. We then ask you to sign a 'Contract Of Hire' that states that all is tested to your satisfaction and that you are now responsible for the equipment until we return to uninstall it. For equipment that we have installed for you, we stipulate that you do not uninstall the equipment, but wait for us to do so on our return.

          If Equipment Is Damaged

We understand that although damage to our equipment is rare, sometimes accidents do happen and we appreciate our customers being honest with us about this.

We would need to take the equipment back to our workshop and take it apart/inspect it to establish the cause/extent of the damage.

1a. If the equipment has been accidently damaged whilst with the customer but, on inspection, we can establish the damage and fix it, then the customer will not be held liable.

1b. If parts are needed to fix the damage, the customer will be liable and will be invoiced for those parts (not for the time to fix the equipment).

1c. Should our equipment have been so damaged at your event e.g. by power surges, drink spillages, vandalism or any other occurrence that is a direct result of your event, venue, and/or attendees that we cannot repair it, the customer will forfeit the security deposit to cover the excess on our insurance.

By booking Dry Hire equipment with us, you are agreeing to our Dry Hire Terms.

*Dry Hire - when the customer is running the equipment themselves and has not hired us to engineer it.

Sanktum 'Engineered Install' Terms

On the day of your event, PRIOR to the installation of your package, you will be given our 'Engineered Install Contract' to read/sign.  Signing this contract confirms your agreement to the following:

1. Prior to your event, all requirements for the install were confirmed with you and it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that these agreed requirements are met. It is not the responsibility of Sanktum Soundsystems if we cannot run our equipment at your event due to you failing to meet the agreed requirements.

2. When we have installed your package, we will test it with you on site and ensure that all is set up to your satisfaction. We will then complete our Risk Assessment which both parties sign. We will then engineer the equipment throughout your event.

3. Should our equipment have been so damaged at your event, e.g. by power surges, drink spillages, vandalism or any other occurrence that is a direct result of the customer’s event, venue, and/or attendees that we cannot repair it, the customer will forfeit the security deposit to cover the excess on our insurance.
