**What does 'Dry Hire' mean?

Dry Hire usually means that the customer collects the equipment, sets it up and runs it themselves for the duration of the hire period.


We DO NOT offer Dry Hire on any of our sound systems as they need to be professionally installed and precisely engineered by trained engineers. 


Some customers prefer that we deliver and install packages, then leave the customer to run the equipment for the duration of their event and we return later to uninstall it. 


This is the only type of Dry Hire we offer and this option is only available on our Yamaha DXR P.A. System.


**What do you mean when you say you will 'install and engineer' equipment?

Our sound system packages need us to professionally install them for your event (deliver the equipment and set it up to a professional standard). We also precisely engineer them to ensure optimum results throughout your event. (we stay with the equipment and run it for the duraration).

**What are your prices?

On our 'Packages' pages we demonstrate a range of equipment choices to give a few examples of what we can offer. These are only a guide as we agree individual costs and terms with our customers dependant on event size, duration, equipment requirements and distance. No event is too large or too small. We play 18th birthdays and huge festivals. Contact us to have a chat about your ideas.

**What are your usual payment/cancellation terms?

Please see our Terms page for our general payment/cancellation terms. All terms are discussed/agreed with each customer at the time of booking as they vary depending on individual customer needs e.g. size of event.

**What if I want to change something we have agreed for my booking?

We understand that as an event idea evolves you might want to make some changes to your initial ideas. The time frame limit for any changes is dependant on the size of your event and this will be agreed as part of your bespoke package when booking. Such changes can include Soundsystem Requirements, Lighting Preferences, Decor, DJ's, Music Genre and Custom Playlists.

**Do you have DJ's for Hire?

We have several crew DJ's for hire from Somerset and Dorset, playing all sorts of music genres including Disco, House, Trance, Club Classics, Old Skool, Techno, Drum & Bass, your Custom Playlist and more.

**Do You Provide Lighting?

We can supply multiple lightshows,  trussing, control boxes, lasers, smoke machines and other special effects. We supply lighting engineers if required.

**Do you provide Decor?

We have a range of decor ourselves and can also hire in anything else that you require to make your event exactly how you want it.

**Do you supply Marquees?

As long as we have enough notice we can arrange marquee hire for you.

**Do you supply Staging?

As long as we are given enough notice, we can arrange staging for you.

**What if I have no idea what I might need for my event? Will you be happy to advise me?

Absolutely. We are professionals in this field and when you have secured a date with us we will be more than happy to guide you as to how to plan your event.

**What if I am not happy with Sanktum's service?

Our Clients' satisfaction is our top priority. and over the years we have built up a valuable reputation for going the extra mile for our customers.
